The ceramic figurine is designed by the Belgian sculptor Guido Deleu and is skillfully manufactured by hand at the studio Cores da Terra in Brazil.  Cores da Terra has become well known for developing and educating local artisans, as well as for its direct contribution to the economic and cultural development of one of the poorest areas of Brazil.
